Hopefully everyone that attended the show has recovered, and still has some money left after buying all of your shiny new bits! Now that this annual motorsport pilgrimage is over, it’s back to the real world of prepping cars ahead of the new season…and what a season it’s lining up to be!

Firstly however we’d like to thank the BRSCC for providing such a great exhibition stand, and for the assistance of all staff and helpers. We’d also like to give huge thanks to Phil Sharpe for allowing us to display his lovely Mexico Blue Compact Cup racer. Newly built by himself and Andy Coombes (who is building another just like it), we can’t wait to see both of them on the grid this season. Thanks also to all of those who took the time to come and chat, and it was great to catch up with everyone.

From the discussions we had over the duration of the show, it’s clear that our Championship is in great health. The majority of our 2017 racers are looking to return for the 2018 season, and we’ll be joined by a number of new drivers with new or newly purchased cars. We’re also really looking forward to welcoming another few ex Scottish competitors who’ve committed to joining us this year.

Although we’re still a few weeks away from our season opener at Brands Hatch, with the fantastic selection of circuits provided by the BRSCC for us it’s already looking like 2018 could be one of our best and most exciting seasons yet. Add to this that the new TCR UK series are kindly supporting us at 3 of our rounds, then the excitement grows further!

So, stop promising yourself that you’ll start tomorrow…get the sleeves rolled up and get those cars prepped and ready.

We look forward to seeing you all at Brands Hatch on 25th March.
